I highly recommend not to skip the sugar syrup. The sugar syrup that I used in this roll cake is something I discovered recently and I love this better. The other syrup in the bunny cake roll is the lazy shortcut way, it's still good, and I still use this when I'm feeling lazy.Cakeletsanddoilieshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07007606216338235625noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9046264922348760987.post-89598764408086919872013-12-30T21:41:11.277+08:002013-12-30T21:41:11.277+08:00Hi, your rollcake looks gorgeous! Is there a reason why there is a difference in the amount of sugar syrup between these 2 recipes? Would the taste be affected if I choose to omit the syrup? Thanks! :)Sherylnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9046264922348760987.post-15708027164042801972013-11-19T20:14:41.408+08:002013-11-19T20:14:41.408+08:00Awww this looks too cute!Awww this looks too cute!Yingzhihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16360982376875840410noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9046264922348760987.post-11203909437000319692013-11-09T10:30:57.460+08:002013-11-09T10:30:57.460+08:00Hi Belle, no worries. thanks for the clarification...Hi Belle, no worries. thanks for the clarification:) Will keep you posted. Sorry about the confusion. I hope you and your family will like the cake. Do let me know how it went and maybe send me an email with the photo of the cake? Good luck!Bellenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9046264922348760987.post-24967810409652374762013-11-08T18:28:01.583+08:002013-11-08T18:28:01.583+08:00That's perfect, just what I needed. And then fill in-between the red batter, and any gaps, with the non-coloured cake batter. That's really about it... easy. If you are not too confident about getting even spacing, draw the lines on the baking paper first. Hope that helps. Maybe I should update the recipe with these tips. :DBellenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9046264922348760987.post-35676882403541208992013-11-08T17:48:45.347+08:002013-11-08T17:48:45.347+08:00Hi Belle, could you give a more detailed explanati...Hi Belle, could you give a more detailed explanation of how you did the piping of the red and plain yolk mixture?
